Here at the Ranch, our primary concern is the well-being of our residents. Our staff is highly trained to care for your loved one. Our training includes the following: basic first aid, CPR, food handling, resident rights, medication management, infection control, dealing with difficult behaviors, emergency procedures, and HIV/AIDS.
Our dedicated and licensed staff is available 24 hours a day to assist your loved one with their daily needs. From assistance with medication management to preparing meals, the staff is trained to handle any situation.
We do more than just provide medical care to our residents. Our other job descriptions include friend and confidant.
Jeannette Simmons joined The Family of Friends staff in 2001. As administrator, she maintains the day-to-day operations, including managing staff, resident care and grounds. Jeannette also acts as the facility representative to all local and state agencies, ensuring the facility complies with the rules and laws.
Jeannette has dedicated her life to service, and strives everyday to advocate, protect and educate others on behalf of people who have a mental disorder. She graduated from Rollins College with a Bachelors degree in Psychology, and is currently working towards her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her professional experience includes serving as an administrator to seven assisted living facilities in Orange and Seminole counties. |
